Albury

Well, I promised some picture update, done that (to the old posts).

Okay, today I finally arrived in Albury. Cassie, the secretary from my company I am with, picked me up. Actually this was the first time really saw Australia. The Nite I arrived in Melbourne doens't count anyway:

• coz I was tired and didn't see much
• dark already
• heavy rain

So, my first impression of Australia is like this: It's somehow a mixture between USA and Britain regarding people (fat people,blocs,Asian chicks,all skinned white, those funny Indian ones), building style, town layout (so spacey).

We first drove to my hotel I am going to stay the first week. Then we went to the company and I had a small chat with my future boss. But we soon left again and went back to the CDB. I got my Australian SIM Card. It wasn't that easy to get it to work with my German Moto Milestone, and those guys in the Optus Shop I got the sim from didn't want to help me. Good service, right? Well, I finally made it work later the evening.
